The proprietor Steve Dorey learnt his trade with Mercedes Benz. Working on as well as restoring all models of Mercedes Benz especially Gullwings. He became a Mercedes Technician as well as becoming City and Guilds Approved. Steve went on to the London College of Engineering and completed an National Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

Steve moved to South Devon in 1986 and has been supporting the local trade with his knowlegde in both the motor and marine trade.

Having traded for many years, Steve set up Teign Tints and Screens to expand the services he could offer to the general public - offering not only new & 2nd hand windscreens and window tinting, but also van conversions. TTS traded alongside Steve's mechanical workshop before amalgamating both business to its present site in early 2010.

The Teign Auto Marine Centre was born, offering all the services Steve can provide under one roof. In the new premises he is also now able to offer a complete restoration service.
